ABOUT US

We Love the Church

It’s this love for the Church that has motivated many partners to come together to form The Discipling Church network.

The Discipling Church is a parachurch organization that equips and empowers local churches to disciple one another through resources, training, and networking. We believe that discipleship is the heart of the church's mission, and that every church has something to offer, and we are committed to helping churches share their resources and expertise with one another. We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact in the world for Christ.

  • The Discipling Church exists to help equip and empower the local church to become a discipling church through resources, training, and networking.

  • We envision a world where every church is a discipling church, and where every Christian is making disciples who make disciples.

    1. We believe in the power of the gospel to transform lives.

    2. We believe in the importance of community and relationships.

    3. We believe in the need for training and resources.

    4. We believe in the power of collaboration.

    5. We invite you to join us in this important work!

“I have never yet known the Spirit of God to work where the Lord’s people were divided.”

— D.L. Moody

In the book of Acts, we see the Church born, exploding all over the world. As the gospel moved forth from Jerusalem, many different types of local expressions were birthed. Megachurches, home churches, outreach missions, church plants, matured sending churches, etc. All unique in their worship, but all unified in Jesus Christ working together for the spread of the gospel. We exist as a network of many different churches and types of churches to ensure that no church carries out it’s ministry alone.

“42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
